是这样的,study既可以做动词也可以做名词,be good at 意思是擅长,善于某事 ,后面接动名词或者名词,所以be good at doing sth.或者be good at sth.,在这里显而易见是名词短语,his studies 指的是他的学习 ,那么study就是做名词用,study作名词的时候是可数的,这个时候study是泛指,他擅长他学的学科,那么就不可能是单数,因为他各科学习成绩都好,就是数学、语文..等都好,就要用复数.
