1:What is your major?why did you choose your major?
I major in mechanical engineering.I enjoy it, actually. I didn't know that much about it before I studied it, but I'm glad I chose it because it suits me a lot. My father actually suggested that I major in Accounting, because he thought that I'd enjoy it, too.
I major in Accounting, which is part of the School of Business at my university. I mainly study the international accounting system as it relates to foreign trade.
Because I've always enjoyed working with computers, and I was always good at math and logic. I was fortunate to have a computer in my home when I was in high school, and I spent quite a lot of time just playing around on the computer. My parents bought me all sorts of books on computer programming, and I just started to read them and pick up the ideas in them.
When I was a child, I made up my mind to be a lawyer in the future. There were times I can recall being attracted to other fields, but law is the subject that constantly interested me. I couldn't get over the fact that law provided the basic texts for the orderly functioning of society. To me it seemed as interesting as the structures and laws of physics, only with a human component added. I had some discussions with my parents while still in high school, and they approved of my interests, so when the time came to select my major, it was really a no-brainer.

2:what do you like most about your studies? Is there anything you don't like about your studies?
I like math best, because I like solving problems successfully.
Generally I like my subjects, but I hate the examination system. There are too many examinations, and most of the time we have to memorize lots of things in books. I'm not very good at that and I find it's a waste of time and energy. Other than that, I quite enjoy my time at school.
3:what is your ideal job?why?
My ideal job is to be a professional tour guide. I could travel around the world to meet different people and learn different culture. In the meantime, I could earn money for my living.
My ideal job is to be a teacher. First, being a teacher is my dream. Both of my parents are teachers. They work hard and their students like them very much. Second, I think it is interesting and challenge to be a teacher. I like to be with the young. Third, being a teacher, I can teach my students knowledge and I can also teach the right from wrong. What's more, to be a teacher means I will have lots of holidays so that I can retrain myself and do whatever I want.

My ideal job is to be a self-employer or a graphic designer. The reason for the former one is that i am fond of seld-challenge rather than the environments which hold me down. In addition, i set up my own businesses such as managing online store and campus stall on school days, in a word, I often have some noval ideas about business. As for the latter ideal job, i love it because i love drawing and something about pictures, i want to present my thinking

4:what do you think of your life in university ?
I like it a lot. Sometimes it is a little hard to live in the university, but I have made many good friends and I enjoy my major. It was hard at first to live apart from my parents, but I think that it has been a good change for me. I am much more independent and more able to deal with troubles on my own. My courses are mostly interesting too, so I'm glad that I chose the major I did.

5:do you like to be with a group of people or alone in your spare time?why?
I like being with a group of people. It's livelier and I feel more at ease, especially when I feel that my friends are also having a good time.
6:do you prefer living on campusor living off campus?why?

As to me, I prefer to live on campus. First, I can learn from others and make good friends. This kind of collective life will benefit my study and character development. Second, I can acquire the art of inter-personal communication through living with people from different places. That will make me well-prepared for future team work.

Those who hold the first opinion suggest campus can provide students with a safe living environment and good academic atmosphere. In their views, college students are not fully-independent and still need supervision. However, others think living in dormitories restricts the students' freedom and hinders their individual development. They argue that living alone off campus protects their privacy and make much room for them to live in their own ways.

7:do you perfer big families or small families?why?
Well, big families are probably good for the children, because there are so many people to play with. But I think that big families also create a big burden for the parents and it's difficult for each child to receive the attention he or she deserves.
8:which do you perfer,a flat or a house?
Well, it depends on the condition that they are in. I'd probably have to say a flat, because you don't have to worry so much about maintaining it.
9:how different is your life from the life of your parents?
I have to say I haven't had to sacrifice nearly as much as they did, and that fills me with a great deal of admiration for them. I still remember my father's stories about the time when he was young. They were so remarkably frugal and conscious about not wasting any effort in meaningless activities. It seems people like myself have to keep those stories in mind, because our lives really have been blessed in comparison. I don't need to be overly concerned about how many times a week I eat out with my friends, or whether I spend too much time paying attention to fashion. They appeared to be more attentive to each detail of survival and growth than I could ever hope to be.

it's very different. I have had many more opportunities and a much more comfortable life than they had. I remember my father telling me stories about having just one egg to eat each week, and that was the highlight of his week. I can't really imagine life like that, so I'm grateful that I have a better life than my parents dig. I appreciate their hard work to get us to this point in our lives.

10:is there anything you would like to change in your life?
Yes,my dependence upon my parents.Right now I'm quite dependent on them for money. So I hope I can be more independent in the future and one day be able to support them istead of their always supporting me.

11:do you enjoy of traveling?what benefits do you think you have gained from traveling?
I like travelling very much. When I visit a new place, I can really appreciate its exotic beauty, charming scenery, and distinctive community. Travelling affords one the opportunity to connect to people in ways one otherwise may not have imagined, to. listen to stories one otherwise may not have heard, whether they are stories of other travelers one meets on one's way, or stories of the local people.

12:which type of transportation do you prefer for traveling aroud?
Trains are better because they don't encounter any traffic jams, whereas sometimes in the bus, we get struck in traffic. Also, it is always difficult to get on buses during peak hours, whereas with a train you have a better chance of getting a seat during peak hours.

13:do you like your hometown, and tell me why or why not?
Naturally I love my hometown. Small towns like mine are apt to produce really distinctive characters among the people. Local residents are familiar enough with one another that everyone finds a slightly different social role and takes her role seriously, as it is a form of her identity that allows him to deeply engage her neighbors. This, in some ways, is similar to the formation of a family, where we notice difference among each other more clearly. As a result of this phenomenon, in my view, it's often easier to find a broader range of personalities and interests in small towns than in large cities, where interaction is frequently more impersonal. I've learned more about humanity and the unique ways social life can nourish a person's character from the varied personalities that inhabit my hometown.
I like my hometown very much. My hometown is a quiet village, in which there are beautiful scenery and fresh air.I like the warm and hospital people there, always with a smile on their faces.I like the traditon of my hometown. It has a long history and is kept well.My hometown is the place that i can relax myself.

14:what changes have taken place in your hometown in the last 20years?
Well, I'm pretty young, but may parents always complain that my hometown's traffic is much worse, and they say that prices are a lot higher. But I think on the positive side, life is better, houses are in better condition and there are much better shops and cleaner conditions in the restaurants.

15:describe a person who is particularly important in your life.
My father is a policeman. He is very responsible. As a husband, he always shares housework with my mother and buys something for her if he is not very busy. Being a father, he always squeezes time from his tight schedule for me. Of course, he spends most of his time working in the police station. Whenever he receives a telephone call from the office, he will hurry to finish his task.
