1、没有定冠词的others 不特指（不包括余下的全部）：
Some of us like singing and dancing,others go in for sports.
除了some 和other 外还有人（比如喜欢看书）
比如30个孩子,some (比如10个）喜欢唱歌跳舞,还有一些（比如6个 -- others)喜欢运动,那还剩下14个有其它兴趣的孩子呢.
1、加定冠词的others 特指（包括余下的全部）：
Two boys will go to the zoo,and the ohers will stay at home.
2个男孩去动物园,其他（所有的）留在家里.
比如一共10个孩子,2个去了动物园,其他8个（the others) 全部留在家
the others是指两方中的另一方，总体只有两种，others是指另一方，不涉及具体一共有多少种对象
the others 是特指others是泛指
some...others...为固定搭配，意为一些...另一些...，而the others 是特指剩下的那些男孩。
