Television has had a significant influence on the culture of many societies.To what extend do you think television has positively or negatively affected cultural development?
It has been a public concern that the society culture is being influenced by the TV.To a large extend,from my perspective,the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
To current people,some TV programs provide us the chances to acquire the knowledge about previous life.By watching televisions,not can we only get to know what sort of life our ancestors were living,but we can also find what we can learn from the previous culture which seems as an expansion of the modern one.For example,by watching the series about the history,we can learn historical custom and in daily life,it is easy for us to show our friendliness to others.
Apart from this,the television is also a useful tool for individuals to learn foreign cultures.In modern society,there is a trend to absorb benefits from other cultures worldwide.Since the TV was invented,thousands of foreign TV shows have been imported,which offer the public the opportunities to learn foreign culture.By watching these TV shows,it is of convenience to learn English and other cultural branches such as the sport.It is obvious that Chinese sport benefits from the NBA,the Champions league and other sports shows.
Of course there is a danger of cultural invasion.Some people might loss themselves by watching and learning the dark side of TV programs.But it is simple to be avoided because we just need to control the quality and the number of the TV programs.
On balance,i am convinced there are more advantages of TV on cultures.If we can get the benefits while avoiding negative parts,could television be a crucial factor to make a culture’s success.

内容没多少大问题,文笔过于平淡,但是短期很难提高,6-6.5左右的档次.指出几个修改建议,在Academic writing里面,像 I you 和we 都是不能出现的,可以通过改变句子结构来去掉,such as z主动改被动.还有就是People 和 think 这两个词太土了,people可以用具体的主人公来代替,例子,第三段开头的To current people 可以直接改成currently就好了.think有很多可以替的像believe ,argue 等等.
