1.C项肯定是错误的,其中that economics is是修饰teaching的定语从句,这里如果用定语从句来修饰teaching,从句就会变成economics is by presenting his students.从句结构会变成主语+谓语+介词by,缺少宾语等结构,是构不成一个完整的从句的.而且前面引导词是teaching,后面主语却是economics,前后句子所修饰的事物不一致,所以C项用法错误.
2.这个要结合后面半句才能说得通,也就是说Economics is taught by presenting his students with the most advanced economic thinking at an introductory level.在这里,economics is taught可以和后面的by presenting his students...衔接,形成被动语态,整句话也就说得通了.
