2008年5月12日14时28分,距离成都西北面93公里的四川汶县发生7.8级地震,震区屋倒墙塌,生命瞬间隐没于废墟,学校、居民皆无幸免.重庆、云南、宁夏、甘肃等十数省市区均有震感.截至现在,四川地震灾区已发现死亡人数一万二人,重庆、陕西、甘肃等省市都有人员伤亡的报道传出.这是近30年来中国遭遇震级最大,人员和财产损失最重的一次地震灾害.现在,地震灾区交通中断、电力和通讯中断,而灾难还在继续,灾区余震不断,那些仍被掩埋在瓦砾堆中的生命,可能还有一线生机,他们顽强地等待着第一声呼唤,那些失去家园的同胞,也等待着我们伸出救援之手.时间就是生命!
