我记得以前老师讲过,besides是表示那个东西也做了某件事情,比如Any one else besides Tom went there.的意思是说Tom也去了,别人也去了.except是说那个东西没有做某件事情,比如Any one else except Tom went there.表示除了Tom以外的人都去了,Tom没去.前面说的都是一类事物,就是any one和Tom,都是人.except for表示的不是一类事物,意思跟besides一样,比如The article is good except for some writing mistakes.writing mistakes就跟article不是一类事物.
这里感觉都应该填except for.因为那些东西都是存在的（第一个是街上有车,第二个是给了他钢笔）.
