在海内外被誉为代表中国文化品牌的女子十二乐坊,诞生于2001年6月.女孩子们分别来自中央音乐学院、中国音乐学院、中央民族大学和解放军艺术学院等著名的高等艺术院校,师从中国著名的民乐大师,均有着极高的民族器乐演奏天赋与水准,使用的主要有：古筝,扬琴,琵琶,二胡,竹笛,箫,葫芦丝,独弦琴等中国传统民族乐器.
12 Girls Band was founded in June,2001.She is such a popular artistic party as combines China's traditional musical instruments with modalities of modern popular musical performances. With dainty musical rhythms and passionate performances, she manages to enlarge the group of people who enjoy Chinese folk instrumental music, and thus develops Chinese folk music both home and abroad.
The members of 12 Girls Band have come from such famous artistic colleges and universities as Central Conservatory of Music, China Conservatory, Central University for Nationalities and PLA Art College. Their musical instruments mainly include those Chinese musical instruments like guzheng, dulcimer, pipa, erhu, zhudi, xiao, hulusi, duxianqin etc.
