英语问题-24阅读选择解析
In college I didn’t appreciate the value of
money, and spent every last cent I made.To make things worse,I also managed
to get 12 credit cards by the time I was 21.Tired of having no money,I needed
to find my way to stand out.Rather than finding productive ways to use my
money or save it for the future,I decided to blow it all on designer purses
and any good high heels I could find.I only worked one day a week at a gas
station with low pay.Within a year,I got $18,000 of the credit card debt.
For the next two years,I paid only minimum
payments since I couldn’t afford to pay
much more than that. The total of minimum payments was about $600 a month,so
it was impossible to make ends meet.I began to feel like a hamster(仓鼠)running
on a wheel. In 2008,I decided to reduce my debt.I didn’t want to take out a
loan but wanted my debt to be one monthly payment with lower interest.
I was
somewhat smart and found Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Greater Milwaukee (CCCS).It is
offered through a local reputable healthcare provider and is a part of the
National Foundation for Credit Counseling. With CCCS,my debts were still with
my creditors, but the interest rates were all lowered and CCCS acted somewhat
like a debt management company.I would pay them,and they’d
disperse(分散)payments to all my creditors. They charged me
$35 a month, which is a small fee considering how much interest they were
saving me for being in the program.
It has been a struggle since I am still a part
of the program and currently pay $410 a month.I started the program in January
2008 with a balance of$18,000,and I am
now down to $1,200.This should be paid off by the end of this summer.Sure,
it has taken three years. That’s like paying off a car!I can’t imagine what my balances would be if
I had not entered this program.
The good thing about having had a debt
management plan is not only that I am getting rid of my debt, but also that I
learned how to better manage my money.I haven’t had a credit card in three and
a half years and have done well without it.

D.In June 2010.
回答24题:正确答案是B,我选的是D,请详细解释为什么B正确,D不正确?

英语问题-24阅读选择解析In college I didn’t appreciate the value ofmoney, and spent every last cent I made.To make things worse,I also managedto get 12 credit cards by the time I was 21.Tired of having no money,I neededto find my way to sta
It has been a struggle since I am still a part
of the program and currently pay $410 a month.I started the program in January
2008 with a balance of$18,000,and I am
now down to $1,200.This should be paid off by the end of this summer.Sure,
it has taken three years. That’s like paying off a car!I can’t imagine what my balances would be if I had not entered this program.

2008年开始接受此业务,历时三年到了2011年,而且提到This should be paid off by the end of this summer,可知是八月份
