Tom Cruise was born in July 3,1962.His father is an electrical engineer in New York and his mother is an actress.Then,their life is full of hardness,which made Cruise having a spirit of enduring hardshipand and diligence,and also made him having an optimistic attitude towards the life.He participated in the school music drama,henceforth,he began to interest in the drama and the performance.He even spent the money,which he prepared to travel the Europe,to seek the development in the performance circle in New York.
‘Taps’ is Cruise’s first movie,which is a comedy movie reflected the military camp life.Since then,Cruise walked on a road full of struggle and composed with tear and sweat.Later,he performed some movies,such as ‘Risky Business’ ‘All the right moves’ and ‘Legend’.Afterward,‘Born on the Fourth of July’ pushed him up to the lucky peak; he obtained the nomination of golden ball award and the Best actor of Oscar.

In June 2005 Cruise reported his engagement to actress Katie Holmes, who starred in TV's "Dawson's Creek," and later went on to appear on the big screen opposite Christian Bale in "Batman Returns." She was previously engaged to actor Chris Klein.
Cruise proposed to Holmes atop the Eiffel Tower in Paris in 2005. They were finally wed in mid November in Italy (note: more relaxed rules under Italian law makes it easy for foreign born couples to marry in Italy) in a ceremony that saw bride Katie Holmes wearing an Italian designed wedding dress by Giorgio Armani.
The wedding festivities also included a star-studded wedding eve celebration with other celebrities, including David Beckham and Will Smith.
The wedding took place within a dreamy lakeside castle, Odescalchi Castle outside Rome followed by a two-week honeymoon in the Maldives. On their return, the couple are also reportedly planning to celebrate in Los Angeles with a big post-wedding bash "for friends who were not able to attend the wedding in Italy", said a spokesman.
