原题1：Suppose S and T are two nonempty sets of real numbers.If sup S > inf T,
Prove that there is s in S and t in T such that t<s.
假设S和T是两个非空实数集合,若 sup(集合S）大于 inf(集合T),
证明S和T分别存在s和t ,使得t<s.
原题2：S is a nonempty bounded subset of real number.a<0,Let aS={ as:s∈S}.
Prove that sup ‘as’=a×inf(S).
原题3：if a<x<b,a<y<b,show that |x-y|<b-a.

∵sup S > inf T,取s∈（inf T,sup S],t=inf T,易见 t<s,即S和T分别存在s和t ,使得t<s.
对S来说,任意s∈S等价于s∈[inf(S),sup(S)]
∵a<0,∴对于aS来说,as∈aS等价于as∈[inf(aS),sup(aS)],即as∈[a×sup(S),a×inf(S)]
∴sup as=a×inf(S)
a<x<b,a<y<b,即a,b均大于a小于b,所以无论a与b谁大谁小,总有|x-y|<b-a.
如果不清楚的话可以分类讨论x<y和x>y两种情况.
