可是为什么不能选B呢,不可以看成是不定式作目的状语吗?
另：school damaged by.中的damaged的用法?是过去分词作定语吗?为什么它可以省略which was?

本题目只要考察的是这个退休人捐款后造成的结果，所以要选现在分词做结果状语，但是如果选B时，前面的逗号不需要，并且整个问题考察的重点就变了。
