go to后面的名词如果加the,则后者表示特指,直接翻译成“去某处/某地”.
而go to后面的名词不加the的话,则该短语表示特殊含义,不能按单词表面意思去翻译.
如：
go to school 上学 go to the school 去这所/那所学校（不一定是去读书）
go home 回家 go to my home 去我的家
go to work 上班 go to the factory 去这家/那家工厂（不一定是去工作）
go to bed 上床睡觉 go to the bed 去床边（不一定是去睡觉）
加the表特指。因为go是不及物动词，不能直接跟宾语，要先加介词之后才能跟宾语，所以有go to school 。但是home 是副词，不做宾语，直接做状语，所以不用介词。
go to school 和go home 这都是固定搭配。I'm going to the bookstore表示特指。
go to school 和go home 意思是上学和回家（一般只有一个学校和一个家）
书店的话要特指是某个书店 所以要the
学校和家是专有名词，本来就是特指了，但是bookstore就是个普通名词，必须要加THE才能表示特指。。
