All,We use inspection type 04 - GR for production,with Early inspection lot creation for our finished goods.When create a process order,we also assign a batch number for this finished goods,eg.'200309010'.After releasing the process order,an inspection lot is automatically created for this batch - '200309010'However,we find if we have to change the batch number in process order later on,for example,from '200309010' to '200309010A',the batch number in its inspeciton lot doesn't change - still '200309010'.So when perform GR for process order,the batch '200309010A' will be received into stock in QI.And usage decision for its inspection lot is sitll for batch '200309010' and no stock post available.So,would you suggest me how can I make the batch number changed in process order will also change the batch number in its inspection lot.Thanks very much,Lawrence

What about the first batch number?Was that receipted?If you got the inspection lot batch number to change,what would happen to the stock in QI of the first material?You might try first deleting the inspection lot from the production order when changing the batch number.After saving it,come in and then create the inspection lot.You can also try to manually create an 04 inspection lot.It might also pick up the new batch number after it has been changed.If that works,then this would have to be a step that the business has to include when changing the batch number in the process order.Craig 查看原帖>>
