D为什么不对?that后的成分修饰a job,看作一个同位语从句
是不是以a job做先行词的定语从句是不是后一定是where?point.case.activity.situation.position这几个词为先行词引导的定语从句是不是一定后面跟where做关系副词?如果不是,给句两句例句做比较.

本题空格后的句子you are doing something serious but interesting不缺名词性成分如主语或宾语（that/which代替）,缺的只能是状语（when/where代替）.
这一点与先行词关系不大,主要看从句缺什么成分.
补两个经典的例句：
1）This is the museum _____ we visited last summer.(that)
从句中的visit 缺宾语.
2）This is the museum _____ we met Mr.Bush last Summer.(where)
从句主语宾语齐全,只缺状语.
