Abstract: With the continuous development of computer technology, in order to establish, expand and maintain a large and complex software system, object-oriented program design becomes the standard programming language with its encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism.
Overloading is the the simplest forms of polymorphism, since adding more flexibility and extendability to the programming language. There are two kinds of overloadings,i.e. the function overloading and operator overloading. This article briefly introduced the polymorphism of C++ first; then analyzed the basic theory of C + + language on function overloading and operator overloading, and through specific examples, explained the advantages of the overloading to the programming ; finally summed up the importance and advantages of C + + system.
