1,lest引导的从句中大部分为目的状语从句,需用虚拟语气,表示“以防,以免”等意思,其谓语动词多由should ＋动词原形构成,should也可省略.
2,虚拟语气,if only译为“但愿”,对过去事情的虚拟.
3,not.until用法.not until放在句首,句子要倒装.
4,也不是虚拟语气,句型hardly...when...一...就.时态是过去完成,hardly在句首,句子就倒装了.
5,将来完成时,“到那是就洗完澡了”.强调将来能做完的事情.
其实只有前两个是虚拟，第三个和第四个是倒装，第五个时将来完成时。第一个lest以免，固定用法，后面用should加动词原型表示虚拟，第二个if only是如何…该有多好阿，的意思，省略后面主句，因为表示过去，所以用过去完成时，其间用法颇多，这里就不一一列举。第三个not until 表示直到…才的意思，位于句首，后面的部分要求半倒装，及助动词did提前，第四个hard…when直到…才的意思，典型...
