With the development of industry,air pollution is getting more and more serious.In Shanghai,many people suffer from different kinds of illness because of air pollution.
Air pollution is caused by the following reasons.About half of the problem is caused by vehicles.There are more and more cars and buses on the road,which give off poisonous gases.35% of air pollution is caused by factories.Another factor is smoking.Smoking does harm to others’ health as well as to that of the smokers.Besides,about 10% of air pollution is caused by other reasons.
We should take some measures to fight against pollution.New fuel can be used to take the place of gas.We can plant more trees,grass and flowers.All in all,if everybody realizes the importance of environment and does something to stop pollution,the problem will be solved.

Judging from the bar chart, vehicles,factories are major causes of the air polution in Shanghai, account for 50% and 30% respectively.

As more and more Chinese people like having cars and can afford to buy them, more and more vehicles are on the road leading to traffic jams and accidents and the more automobile exhaust which is key air polution source.First,the local government should try to promote the environment protection awareness by using the various advertisements,school education and so on. Besides, we common people should try to take buses or subways instead of cars. or pool cars to go to work...

Factories is another major source of air pollution. The government shall take the strict measures to monitor and control factories to prevent them from releasing untreated polluted air. There should be a system to monitor the officers and to prevent themfrom taking the bribe from the factories and giving the green light to the enviroment damaging behavior.Of course, all the people should take actions now to pretect our environment.

Only by our joint efforts, can air in Shanghai be cleaner and cleaner.
