Apparently, the traffic light system and a human linguistic system are different. But something conmmon could be found on them. To certain extent, the raffic light system (hereinafter referred as A) and a human liguistic system (hereinafter referred as B) are a kind of signalling and communication system. They both initiate signals to different objects in a perticular way. A uses its colors to give directives to the traffic while B uses voice. Sometimes, B also acts like A for communication. In the course of conversation, human must choose right mode/languages (something like A's colors) with the linguistic system to express and exchange ideas with others. A is to keep good orders of the traffic and B is to keep good orders with humans. This is something that could be called as comparison bwteen the two.
