我最想去的三个地方
Good afternoon,Ladies and Gentlemen,
Wuzhen lies north of Tongxiang City in Zhejiang Province,west of Huzhou City,and north of Wujiang County in Jiangsu Province on the border of these three cities and between the two provinces.Now it is the economic,cultural and transportation center of the surrounding villages and towns.With a total area of 71.19 sq.km,township area of 2.5 sq.km.,total population of 60,000 and permanent population of 12,000.
Located on the river and on a lake bed,Wuzhen is flat with interwoven rivers,a mild and wet climate with an abundance of both rain and sunshine as well as rich products,so it is known as the “town of fish,rice and silk”.It inherits a millenary-long history and culture,simple and beautiful river town scenery,a unique flavor of delicacies,colorful folk festivals,and eternally unchanging lifestyle make Wuzhen a living fossil of ancient culture.This is inborn beauty.
This small jewel-like serene Jiangnan town may lack the reputation of Zhouzhuang,but the peacefulness and serenity will touch and move you.White walls,blue-green tiles,wooden fusmas,flagstones,black-winged boats,wooden sculptures,water-surrounded dwelling quarters,teahouses and deep canals characterize this picturesque Jiangnan town.Wuzhen has become the cover of Jiangnan.
