Nowadays,television has become a necessary facility（设备） of most families.It is also part of our life.Many people are affected by it.
Some people strongly argue that we should keep distance from TV due to（由于） several reasons.Firstly,TV may offer too much violent programs which are especially unsuitable for children.Secondly,TV consumes（耗费） too much time.Many people spend their entire leisure time in front of TV.Both the health and the time are wasted.
I think TV can provide enormous（大量的） information as well as entertainment,so it is unnecessary to deny it totally.However,people should learn to control themselves and choose healthy programs.
