演讲稿如下：Space travel is a waste of time
At present,the farthest place human has get is the moon,which is only 380 thousand kilometers or so from the earth.However,in modern astronomy,basic unit of distance is measured by a light year,which is the distance a beam of light travels for one year.We know that speed of light is present the fastest of all.That means that no matter what we do to develop our technologies of our rokets,we can not get ahead of light.
And the shocking result is that the second star,which is suitable for human to live on,is about 20 light years away.
Some people may say that it is only 20 light years away and many of us can live as long as 70 years,so it is not impossible to go there.But notice that you must travel at the speed of light and consider the living condition of the astronauts!Worse still,what does it mean for us?Is it a waste of time and resources?I am doubting about it...
