我现在在国外澳大利亚墨尔本读书,每天都能听到这句话,口音也学会了~
“validate”-使什么什么有效生效的意思,
灵活一点翻译理解就是激活,刷卡,插卡（因为有些机子是插进车票车卡然后电脑读完后会吐出来）.
这里用了“remember to”（记住要）很委婉地表达了交通服务对乘客的要求
“before you travel”（在你启程前）也很温和自然地说明了刷卡的时间要求——上车前.

Please consume your card when getting on the bus
Charge before getting on ,please
