Gene mapping,also called genome mapping,is the creation of a genetic map assigning DNA fragments to chromosomes.
这是英文定义,说白了就是绘制遗传图谱的过程.
而mapping就是绘制图谱的意思,还有physical mapping,就是绘制物理图谱.
