INNER MONGOLIA NORMAL
Introduction
Inner Mongolia Normal University was set up in 1952,one of the key universities in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,which was the first institutions of higher education in the ethnic minority areas of China and the first in Inner Mongolia since the revolution of 1949,and can teach the most courses by both Mongolian and Chinese.It is regarded as “the cradle of minority Education”.The University has abundant teaching resources,advanced facilities and superior teaching conditions.It has thirty colleges,four teaching and research sections.There are 55 regular college disciplines,which cover eight project types.The University also offers one doctoral degree education program,sixty-three master’s degree education programs.The University began its international student education program in 1980s.According to the development in recent years,the University has accepted more than 2,000 students from other countries.International student education program has developed from the sole language advanced studies to the combination of advanced studies and diploma education (bachelor,master and doctor).There are almost 400 international students in the International Exchange College,Inner Mongolia Normal University.At the same time,the University insists in running school openly enhancing international communication,and establishing friendly cooperation relationship with some famous universities,colleges and scientific institutions in the USA,Great Britain,Germany,France,Russia,Holland,Canada,Australia,Japan,Korea,Mongolia and Malaysia,and so on.
