第一：因为当时最先开始并完成工业革命的英国是世界上最强大的资本主义国家,号称“日不落帝国”,所以国内机器生产业发达,所出产的产品远远多余人们的需求,从而导致商品大量囤积,必须销售到其他国家.
第二：机器生产是需要大量能源和原料的,本国供不应求,所以必须要依靠到外国掠夺才能让经济持续飞速发展.
第三：当时印度的资源,无论是人力还是物产都非常丰富,而国家军事力量却不是太强,所以柿子捡软的捏,就在印度殖民了.
