Good evening,Ladies and gentlemen.
　　Before giving my speech,let me first introduce myself ,my name is ……,and my English name is …… .I come from …….And tonight,I am very glad to share this time with you .Maybe you have known that in the semi-finals of this English speech contest last month,I gave a beautiful speech to you in some degrees,And tonight ,I will go further ……
　　Ok ,the title of my speech is :The Challenge and Opportunity .
　　Challenges hide everywhere in the world,at the same time,opportunities also come at your side when you pay no attention to them.But facing the challenges,how do you overcome it?And when the opportunity is close to you,how do you seize it?In my opinion,we should do what we can to seize the opportunities bravely and meet the challenges confidently.
　　But how can we describe the challenge and opportunity?Firstly,Let’s back to 2002 ,as we all know ,China joined in the WTO .Our whole nation were very happy at that time because that’s a opportunity for us in the economic field.We may develop our country's economic potentiality by using the rules of WTO and protect the development of our economy in someheathy way .but of couse ,the challenge ahead of us is also huge .There are also some obstacles should be conquered .Just like the Economic Crisis 、the competition in the market and the growth of trade protectionism ……This is so called co-exist ,and this situation exists everywhere :The NBA basketball match 、the college entrance examination and Barack Obama ,as a black person ,to be the president of the United States of America .
　　I remembered when I was a little boy ,my father told me one word which let me unforgettable forever ,“Life is not fair ,but you have the right to try ……”With these words,I met a lot of challenges ,but I conquered them ; I met a lot of opportunities ,I got them ,and that’s why I stand here tonight .I am afraid I can not present the whole picture of the challenge and opportunity within such a short period of time.Before I end,let me share with you one story .On my first day of my beloved university,one of my teachers said to me catching every opportunity to improve youself and trying your best to fight for the challenge .Ladies and gentlemen,no matter who we are ,what we do and where we go ,we should do our best to seize the opportunities bravely and meet the challenges confidently.This not only to the people here ,but all around .All this we can do ,and all this we will do .Because we have the right to try !
