It's in good shape,but outside could use a cleaning as it is a little dirty.The glass is clear and nice.
The focus isn't perfectly smooth in spots but it will work fine and you won't notice it in autofocus.
I tested this lens on my Maxxum 5000 and it works great.
I'm only selling it because I don't need two,someone else can enjoy this nice sharp 50 on their Minolta film camera,it also makes a great portrait lens on any of the Sony Alpha cameras.
