这是一个it is/was ...that 的强调句型,里面顺带考了定语从句的用法.
在定语从句中,如果前面被修饰的先行词是表示人,后面引导定语从句的关系代词要用who/whom/that,如果是表示是物、事等,则用which/that来引导.两者情况下都可以用that来引导.
在这道题中,前面一个空考的是定语从句,看先行词the lab,显然关系代词要用which；
