本书是在长期教学实践的基础上,参考国内外外大量相关文献、教材、专著、文献,并吸纳一个人一些研究成果编写而成.
本书共六章,大致可分为三个部分.
第一部分,既第一章基本概念,它是全书的基础,以后各章都要用到,应予以充分重视.
第二部分包括第二、三章,介绍含一个代数运算的群的理论.其中第二章介绍群的最基本知识；第三章则进一步介绍正规子群和有限群,以及和它们相关联的群论中最基本最重要的定理.
第三部分包括第四、五、六三章,介绍含有两个代数运算的环与域的理论.其中第四章介绍环的基本知识；
