1.“不患人之不己知,患不知人也.”
译文：不怕别人不了解自己,只怕自己不了解别人
英译：Whether you are known to theothers is secondary,
the crucial point lies on whether you can discern the others.
2.“见贤而思齐,见不贤而内自省矣.”
译文：见到有德行的人就向他看齐,见到没有德行的人就反省自身的缺点
英译：Pace up with the virtuous,
face up with your defect versus the virtueless
