With the development of society and economy,people’s living standard has been improving greatly,so does the living habits.But at the same time,a large proportion of population still has unhealthy living habits,which are harmful to their health.So “National Healthy Living habits Project” is advocated by government is essential and in good time.
One study reported from the World Health Organization shows that negative events like smoking,indulging in liquor,unbalanced meal,irregular diet and lack of exercise,etc.are high on the list.Recently,obesity in children and adolescents is rising at an alarming rate.All these living habits may be major contributors to childhood obesity.Currently,over 15% of young people over 6 years old are obese,and obesity is also increasing among children aged 5 and younger.More adults catch diseases like unhealthy cholesterol levels and high blood pressure,because of unhealthy living habits too.
Therefore,to improve healthy living habits is significant to everyone,young or old,male or female.Above all,we should set up a positive attitude to living habits,in that the living way we have affects our chances of staying healthy.Moreover,enough exercise is necessary in our daily life,because a high level of physical activity--not just using up energy—is important for weight control in young people.What’s more,both the media and the educational system should have strong well-financed programs that encourage healthy-alternatives,including exercise and healthy foods.
