Our school holds the sports meeting today.There are a lot of students and they are very happy.The athletes are very nervous.They take part in the high jump,long jump and so on.The competition begins.The students run very fast on the playground.The others are saying come on to their classmates and couraging them.We lost the game at last,but we are still very happy.今天学校举行校运会,来学校的学生很多,大家都很高兴.参加比赛的学生很紧张,有参加跳高,跳远的,比赛开始了,同学们在操场上快速的跑着,别的同学也都为比自己同学加油,可是比赛结果我们班输了.但是这次给我们带来了快乐 Our school held a sports day on 28th and 29th.When we reached the field,everybody lookd very excited and can't wait for the competition to start.All the participants were getting ready,warming up on the field.Some were kicking their legs,some sitting on the floor stretching their hands.However,they all have a thing in common,they all looked energetic.When the race began,everyone cheered as loudly for their classmates as possible.Something special happened this year,our classmate,Ma BiQing,broke the 50 x 8 relay race record!We were all screaming our throats out and yelling as crazy as we can.BiQing even cried when receiving the trophy from our principal.Our whole class and form teacher all felt happy for her.

Assuming the USA vs. China game would take place at 10:00am, I set my alarm accordingly. Woken up by a text message at 9:48 in the morning, I turned on the TV and the game was already about 6 minutes in progress! I watched it the rest of the way through, and the US dominated China: 101-70! I stayed downstairs for about an hour, until my mom called my upstairs for lunch. We had hamburgers, chips/dip, and watched the Olympics. My sister whined and complained about everything, and when I told her to shut up my dad got pissed. I went downstairs to my, 'bat cave,' and watched the Olympics until about 4 or 5pm. At about 5:30pm we went to lunch at Runza, and Ben was working. I wrote a funny note on the comment card, but even though it was a joke, my mom was upset for the next hour about it. I went back downstairs to my bat cave and watched more Olympic action. I felt very scurvey all day, having not brushed my teeth or taken a shower yet (ick..), and as fate would have it, the boys wanted to hang out. At about 8:30pm Kale picked me up (I at least brushed my teeth), and we went to Hasting and I played the keyboard a bit. Ben called and we went to his house and watched some Olympics. Glandon arrived at about 10:30, and we continued to watch the swimming trials. The big race was pretty much France and USA, after France said they would 'crush' us a few hours prior. USA broke the world record by over 4 seconds, and got 1st place over France by about 15 hundredths of a second. Ben and I played ping pong for a while, then pool. My mom picked me up at about midnight, and I headed home. It was about 12:30am on August 11th, 2008 that I discovered this website, so the first four entries will all be from the 11th.
