答：做状语。也可能是the boss做宾语，——————he 主语，is made by 谓语动词，the boss宾语，to work是不定式做主语补语。
这样的话，整个句子就成了：主谓宾+主补。貌似没见过这种成分划分。呵呵。
如果句子是这样：He is beaten by his father usually. 那么，his father是宾语。
is beaten by 是限定动词词组作谓语动词。
就如同，talk to, look at,似的，它们都是做谓语动词。你可能要问，为何不单独算作词组动词（phr.v）.那是因为，一般词组动词的意思和原词有些许差别或者差别甚大。
所以，talk to, look at, agree with, agree to,和原词无甚差别就不单独列出作为词组动词了。
其实也是看做一个动词。和词组动词的功能一样。
另外，我想问：play with me,中的with me 是什么成分？ play with看做是短语动词吗？
玩，可以just play alone, 也可以 play with someon.所以，我认为是做状语。
不过我又想，既然不知道做什么成分，都能明白意思，为何还纠结于成分问题呢？
我们学语法的目的是看到不懂得句子才分析，能懂得句子还分析作甚呢？本末倒置。
脑子有点混了。呵呵。
